Hello Friends and thank you for visiting my bio.

I’m very happy to announce my newly appointed professorship at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. Here I will be teaching a music fundamentals class, a course in percussion methods, directing the percussion ensemble, and providing private instruction to the percussion studio. Previous to this I was granted a performance internship with DaCamera of Houston, received Masters degrees from Rice University and The Boston Conservatory, and acquired my BM from Utah State University in 2004.

Several of my compositions are published by C. Alan and Bachovich Publications; all others are distributed worldwide through www.CaseyCangelosi.com and several international retailers. Also, as a composer, I’ve been commissioned by performers around the world, won composition awards from the Classical Marimba League and Massachusetts Percussive Arts Society. I’ve received several performance awards and scholarships from the Percussive Arts Society, received numerous endowments from the schools I’ve attended, and I am an MTNA National Young Artist.
